LAHS Members’ Afternoon – including talks on local history topics

Saturday 10th January sees the first meeting of the new year of the Loughborough Archaeological and Historical Society. The Society kick off 2015 with their long-held tradition of an afternoon meeting, filled with talks delivered by members of the Society itself.
Anne Tarver will discuss the Coronation Meadow exhibition which featured at the Old Rectory Museum during the summer months of 2014. Ernie Miller will talk about a project to uncover gravestones in the churchyard of the ruined church at Dishley Grange and Lynne Dyer will give a brief overview on some of the historical finds she has made in antique shops and markets around the country, many of which have local links.
The meeting will take place on Saturday 10th January 2015 at 2.30 pm in Room SMB002, Stuart Mason Building, Loughborough University.
Non-LAHS members are welcome to attend for the entry fee of £2.
