Ladybird at Charnwood Museum

We Love Loughborough Tales and to celebrate that fact, Charnwood Museum are hosting the Ladybird Project. The project is funded by the Arts Council England and is working in partnership with Charnwood Museum and Leicestershire County Council. The project celebrates 100 years of Ladybird Books and its connection to the people and places of Loughborough.

Ladybird at Charnwood Museum will work with artists, children and families, and the residents of Loughborough and Charnwood to gather the stories, thoughts, feelings and emotions that Ladybird evokes. There will be a series of events, activities and workshops developed over the coming months that will encourage people to share their stories. In turn, they will feed into the redevelopment of the Charnwood Museum gallery display and lay the foundations for a year of celebration in 2015.
