The Life and Times of a Victorian Waterworks Engineer – a talk by Chris Hossack

Born in Douglas, Lanarkshire, the son of a farmer, Chris Hossack’s great-grandfather trained as an engineer in Lanark before moving to Dundee. He was later appointed Waterworks Engineer to the City of Bradford and consultant to the Derwent Valley scheme which now supplies Leicester.
